If you got this far, then looks like you’re ready to schedule your first class. Let’s do this!
STEP 1: BOOK YOUR CLASS
We use Mindbody online scheduler and app. To schedule your first class, create an account in Mindbody and purchase your First Class for $15. You can also download the Mindbody app and save us as a favorite for even easier scheduling. Book your class ahead of time to ensure a Megaformer is available.
STEP 2: WHAT TO BRING
Wear comfortable workout clothes. We REQUIRE grip socks on the Megaformer and offer some of our favorites for sale in our studios. Bring a towel and a water bottle that can be filled at our filtered water station. No cell phones during class.
STEP 3: WHEN TO ARRIVE
Please arrive to class 15 minutes early for your overview of the Megaformer. This is also an opportunity to ask questions, tell us about any injuries and share your fitness goals. We can provide modifications and variations to accommodate different fitness levels or previous injuries. During the workout you will be moved through a sequence of slow and controlled movements, as well as fast transitions from one exercise to the next allowing you to maintain an elevated heart rate.
STEP 4: BE PATIENT & DETERMINED
This is a fun and challenging workout with lots of cues and funny exercise names like Catfish, Bear, and Spider Kick to name a few. Be patient with yourself as you learn the workout - it’s not easy for anyone. Our coaches will assist you and our small class sizes allow for lots of personal attention. Your first few classes will be challenging regardless of your fitness abilities. The key is to keep coming back and while it’ll never get easier, YOU’LL get stronger!
